Tested Performance

After rigorous testing, Advanced Enviro-Septic™ (AES) has recently become the world's first NSF International Standard 40 Class I Certified Wastewater Treatment System.
• Passive (non-mechanical) • Requires no replacement media
• Combines treatment and dispersal • Requires no special maintenance

Summary

Enviro-Septic® Technology is state-of-the-art passive wastewater treatment technology that has been scientifically proven to remove up to 99% of contaminants in wastewater. webbeakers-small2 The Enviro-Septic® Technology has been subjected to intensive, scientific testing in a continual effort to improve our product and demonstrate how well it works. Test results confirm that Advanced Enviro-Septic™ provides exceptional treatment capabilities which far exceed treatment levels required by NSF Standard 40 Class I, the  BNQ (Advanced Secondary) in Canada, and US EPA guidelines.

Advanced Enviro-Septic™ Achieves Bureau de Normalization du Quebec (BNQ) Certification for Secondary Treatment!

The Canadian BNQ has performed two, year-long rounds of testing of full-size Advanced Enviro-Septic Systems. The results exceeded requirements for Secondary Treatment in 2006 and Advanced Secondary in 2008 . As a result, Advanced Enviro-Septic™ has full approvals in Quebec, British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan.  To learn more about the BNQ, click here.

Advanced Enviro-Septic™ and Enviro-Septic® (ES) Test Results Exceed Proposed Onsite Effluent Standards for U.S. Environmental Protection Agency!

While performance criteria for onsite wastewater treatment systems are regulated at the state level, the EPA has established guidelines for treatment standards.  Advanced Enviro-Septic treatment capabilities far exceed EPA's proposed performance guidelines for onsite systems. Early Testing

In 2003, Presby Environmental began third party testing of Enviro-Septic®.  Results confirmed Enviro-Septic® removes considerably more wastewater contaminants than conventional systems (Wastewater exiting ES contained 10 times less TSS and BOD than that exiting the conventional system; the wastewater exiting ES contained over 80 times less fecal coliforms as did that exiting the conventional system.)
