System Sand Requirements
System Sand is a crucial component of Enviro-Septic® Technology. PEI strongly recommends a sieve analysis is performed to ensure that the sand provided meets System Sand requirements of an ASTM C-33 Sand with less than 2% passing a#200 sieve (the value must be obtained by washing per C117 method).
Presby Environmental maintains a referral list of System Sand Suppliers for our clients. Suppliers on our Referral List are expected to perform periodic random sampling of their sand, confirming that it continues to meet System Sand specifications. The Bill of Lading provided to purchasers of the specified System Sand should state that the sand provided is Enviro-Septic® System Sand.
If you would like to be considered for our System Sand Supplier Referral List, please fill out and submit an application (a representative sieve analysis is required). The System Sand Supplier Referral List will be posted on our website and distributed upon request to our growing network of customers, installers, designers, and dealers.
